The Garden of Eden was the paradise God created for Adam and Eve, featuring the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Four rivers flowed from Eden: the Pishon, Gihon, Tigris (Hiddekel), and Euphrates. After the Fall, humanity was banished from the garden, and cherubim with a flaming sword guarded its entrance.
